If you were not looking for it you would never know it was there. It can be hidden even further with a little extra work. That information is in the instructions that come with the fan.
This is where your controller will be located. Just slip the controller under your pillow at night and take control of your environment. Much like a volume control on a radio the Bedfan cooling system can be turned up all the way or completely off. You can run the fans at any speed you like. Most people use it at about 15% of available power.

When you receive the Bedfan Cooling System use it the First night, but be ready to get cool. Now when you get cool (and you will) that is a sign that you need to raise your thermostat. The next night raise your thermostat by three degrees before going to bed. After you get in bed you will increase the speed on the fan until you get cool again, and you will.

The next night raise the Thermostat another three degrees before you go to bed, again, increase the fan speed until you are comfortable. Now it is your choice to keep going or stop here. But by this time you have raised your thermostat by 6 degrees and that is a savings of 12 to 25% on your electric bill depending on where you live.
