The Bedfan
The Bedfan Cooling system was conceived, designed and developed in the U.S.A.
Our 10,000 square foot manufacturing facility consists of high-tech equipment capable of producing several thousand units each week. Our quality control is such that we will guarantee the
Bedfan for two full years against any material, mechanical or electrical defect.
As we look at the Bedfan there are several areas that should be explained. Starting at the top we have the fully adjustable Breeze Bar. This bar is moved up or down to the point where it is just at the very top of the mattress. This bar creates a path for the air to travel with limited resistance. The design is such that if anyone were to sit on the breeze bar, it should not break, it should simply bend.
There is a bracket supplied with the Bedfan for installation situations where the bed is considered taller than normal.
The main body is made from UL listed
ABS plastic for extreme safety. The body is exactly 1 inch thick allowing the Bedfan to sit inconspicuously at the foot or your bed. This also makes it very simple to install the Bedfan between your bed and footboard if you so need.
Inside the body are two high performance brushless fans capable of delivering up to 100 CFM. The fans are UL rated and tested for extreme safety as well. The fans have many built in safety features you would not even find on many other fans.
The Bedfan requires less than one Watt to operate. Compare that to you average ceiling fan which requires up to 100 watts and you can see the savings piling up. Our custom designed power supply delivers 12 volts of DC power to the fans. This power is controlled from the comfort of your bed with our one of a kind speed controller. The power supply as well is of the safest in the industry. It is fully UL tested and contains many safety features as well. The wires that are supplied with the Bedfan should be plenty long enough for your convenience.
I like to use an analogy to explain the design of the
Bedfan. It you take a new car out on the freeway and step on the gas fairly soon you will be going very fast. At that point you are probably using 100% of the cars power. If you drive your car like that it will not last very long. Car manufactures realized this and deigned your car with much more power than should ever be required. Thus you probably use only about 20% of your cars power at any given time. Often times it will be much less.
The Bedfan is designed with the same objective. The
Bedfan is capable of delivering up to 5 times as much air as you will ever need. This way you will not need to drive the Bedfan at 100%. Many people report that around 15% is sufficient. This will allow the Bedfan to last for many years.
Remember you are in total control and you are in control right from the comfort of your bed.
